Hi! I’m Jess.
I’ve always loved stories and have been a writer since I learned how to hold a pencil (and arguably before, since some of my earliest memories involve keeping myself entertained by making up some incredibly vivid stories!)
I’ve been a full-time freelance writer since 2020. I started my freelance career in agency work, primarily doing SEO writing and editing, but soon made the switch to working with clients directly. In the last five years I’ve supported business owners, founders, creators and marketers across a wide variety of industries and niches.
Prior to freelancing, I worked in various roles across the theatre, higher education, and charity sectors.
I’m based near Nottingham in the UK but I work with clients nationally and internationally. When I’m not writing, I enjoy reading, fibre arts, travelling as much as possible, and picking up more crafty hobbies than I have time for.
